High Cholesterol
- Know your cholesterol levels –LDL, HDL, triglyceride and total cholesterol.
- Set goals with your doctor to lower your cholesterol.
- Eat less saturated fat (eg meat and diary product).
- Eat more vegetables, grains and monounsaturated fat (eg olive and canola oil).
- Exercise Regularly.
- Drink alcohol only in moderation.
- Stop Smoking.
- See your doctor for regular checkups.
